DAY 3: VANCOUVER TO KAMPLOOPS
Departing early in the morning, travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops, located in the heart of British Columbia's interior. On today's journey, you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the desert-like landscapes of the BC interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. DAY 4: KAMPLOOPS TO JASPER
Early in the morning, your journey continues north and east to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Once again, you will be surrounded by dramatic scenery as you follow the banks of the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains, climbing ever nearer to the high peaks of the Continental Divide. Today's highlights include Mount Robson, at 3,954 metres (12,972 feet), the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, followed by Pyramid Falls and the climb over the Yellowhead Pass into Jasper National Park. DAY 6: JASPER TO LAKE LOUISE
Travel from Jasper to Lake Louise via one of the most scenic highways in the world, the Icefields Parkway. Bow Lake, the Columbia Icefield, Glacier Skywalk, and Athabasca Falls are among the day's highlights. The Columbia Icefield is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle and one of the most accessible icefields in North America. Day 2 - Monday - Arrive in Amsterdam

Arrive in Amsterdam and transfer to your hotel. Most flights arrive in the early morning, and your room may not be ready for you. In this case, leave your luggage with the concierge, and your Tour Manager will provide suggestions for you to begin to explore the city on your own. Tonight, your tour begins at 6:00 PM when you join your Tour Manager for a Welcome Drink and orientation meeting that outlines the delightful tour that awaits you. We recommend that you select flights that arrive in Amsterdam no later than 4:00 PM on Day 2 of the itinerary or earlier if possible. Afterward, savor a Welcome Dinner together.

Day 3 - Tuesday - Amsterdam Canal Tour

This morning, board a glass-top boat for a delightful cruise of the winding canals of historic Amsterdam for an up-close view of stately historic mansions, 16th-century gabled merchant houses, and charming churches with bell towers. This afternoon you’ll have an opportunity to explore this dynamic city on your own, or perhaps join the optional tour of traditional Holland that includes a visit to Volendam, a charming fishing village on the old Zuiderzee. Day 4 - Wednesday - Brussels City Tour

This morning, travel through Holland’s open fields, crisscrossed with canals and windmills, to reach Belgium. Upon arrival in the capital city of Brussels, take an orientation tour with views of the Atomium, the Royal Palace, the Museum district, and the Palace of Justice. Stroll the city center to view the famous Mannekin Pis fountain and 17th-century Grand Place with its decorated guild houses. Afterward, continue to the city of Bruges, also known as the “Venice of the North,” and home to some of Europe’s best-preserved medieval buildings. Tonight, dinner is in a local restaurant. Day 5 - Thursday - Bruges City Tour

This morning, embark on a delightful orientation in Bruges’ medieval district with its charming squares and historic buildings. View Our Lady’s Church, which houses the famous Madonna statue by Michelangelo. DAY 1Arrive in Puerto Natales, originally a small fishing port nestled on the Last Hope Sound boasting a stunning view of the sea surrounded by the Cerro Benitez Mountains—the gateway to Torres del Paine. Transfer from the airport to the hotel, where you’ll join your fellow Guests for dinner and a briefing on the following day’s activities.

DAY 2Following breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for your two-hour direct flight to King George Island in Antarctica, where you'll begin your Antarctic adventure.
DAY 3 -6With long hours of daylight at this time of year, you'll have ample opportunities to explore. The schedule is flexible, allowing you to take advantage of the unexpected, whether you’re watching whales at play off the bow of the ship, hiking alongside penguin highways or enjoying an evening Zodiac cruise amid porpoising penguins.

While wildlife is magnificent, ice defines the Antarctic. You’ll get to know ice up close and personal—from icebergs the size of islands, bergy bits and near-vertical glaciers, to the fragile, nearly invisible layers that have just begun to freeze. One day, you might set out by kayak to encounter towering icebergs at water level; embark on a Zodiac excursion in search of seals and blue-eyed shags; or walk amid thousands of Adélie and gentoo penguins.
